Vernon Trumbull and His Kinsmen play a mix of hard rock, blues and country they call Bayoubilly. VT&HK are proud to call Houston and East Texas home but they travel the globe as Bayoubilly ambassadors making new fans everywhere they go. Fronted by unforgettable frontman Vernon Trumbull, the Kinsmen are stars in their own right: Scott Ayers (ex Pain Teens) on guitars and Mark Weathers on bass and vocals. A rotating cast of drummers have included Steve Bundrick, Lisa Harrington-Squyres, Brian Scardino and Chase Brickenden.

The enigmatic Vernon Trumbull started life on a farm in Ohio in the county named for his forefathers. Vernon started in bands early —- playing in punk bands and raising hell. A stint in the Ohio State Penitentiary convinced him to jump in his Bronco and head south for a new start. Vernon and Texas were made for each other as he quickly built his fortune and reputation around music and cars. Vernon and his Kinsmen started playing in 2014 and have released two albums with another on the way in 2023.
